the proposal...

Nick's 25 bithday was November 14, we planned a big family party. He just said wanted to have both families over, well I decided to have it at my dad's because his house can fit more. I invited everyone, its what Nick wanted, which didnt surprise me because Nick loves my family and his :) I had anxiety a little when every person said they were coming... I didnt think EVERYONE would be able to it was just his bday! So we planned everyone to bring a football dish, have the Cowboys game on and hang out! It ended up being about 30 adults 10 kids! It was a cold day so we all squished inside, I was trying to entertain everyone, so I decided to have nick sit on a stool and open gifts, then blow out his candles! As I was putting the candles on the cake I said, well I guess this is what the wedding will look like family wise... little did I know! After he blew the candles out he grabbed my hand and said the reason I wanted all of you here today... in that moment I knew and instantly started to cry... SURPRISE SURPRISE LOL... He then said I want this family to be mine forever, got down on one knee said I love you and want you to be my wife forever, will you marry me? I was crying so much and in such surprise I said yes and grabbed him before I even looked at the ring! It was one of the happiest moments of my life! Everyone was clapping and cheering.. no wonder they all ALL showed up it was really an engagement party :) They all knew before I did! We decided we want a winter wedding we plan on Dec 3 2011. I have so much to plan for this next year Baby and now wedding! I cant wait :)
